The service

AflyZon provides aviation weather information and tools for pilots: a live airport globe, METAR and TAF reports, airport briefings, weather maps, a 3D airport view and flight planning calculators. The service is free of charge. We may add, change or withdraw features, and interrupt the service for maintenance, at any time.

Your account

• You need a free account to use the briefings and tools. Sign up with a valid email address that you control.
• You must be at least 14 years old to create an account.
• Keep your password secret and do not share your account. You are responsible for what is done with it.
• Use AflyZon lawfully. Do not try to break its security, overload it, or copy its data in bulk by automated means.
• Reviews you post must be your own, honest and respectful. We may remove content that is unlawful or abusive.
• We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. You can stop using AflyZon at any time and ask us to delete your account, as described in the Privacy Policy.

Aviation disclaimer

The weather data, briefings and tools on AflyZon are for planning and training only. They are not an official meteorological briefing and must not be used for operational navigation.

Data can be delayed, incomplete or wrong. Before every flight, obtain an official briefing from the competent aviation authority or air navigation service provider, including NOTAMs. The pilot in command remains solely responsible for the decision to fly and for the safe conduct of the flight.

Data sources

AflyZon shows data from third parties, credited where it appears:

• Weather reports and forecasts (METAR, TAF): NOAA / National Weather Service — Aviation Weather Center (aviationweather.gov)
• Airports: OurAirports (public domain)
• NOTAMs: U.S. Federal Aviation Administration
• Maps and imagery: OpenFreeMap, © OpenMapTiles, © OpenStreetMap contributors; Natural Earth; NASA (Blue Marble, GIBS); EUMETSAT; JMA; NOAA / NWS (MRMS via nowCOAST); EUMETNET OPERA; RainViewer; Open-Meteo.com; MET Norway

The data of each source remains subject to its own licence.

Intellectual property

The AflyZon name, design, texts and software belong to AflyZon. Third-party data and maps belong to their owners. You may use AflyZon for your own flying and training; do not copy, resell or redistribute the service or its content without our permission.

Limitation of liability

AflyZon is provided as it is, without any warranty of accuracy, completeness, availability or fitness for a particular purpose.

To the extent permitted by law, AflyZon is not liable for any loss or damage arising from the use of the service or from reliance on its data, including flight planning and operational decisions. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, or your mandatory rights as a consumer.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the current version; if a change is significant, we will inform signed-in users. If you keep using AflyZon after a change, you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by Spanish law. If you use AflyZon as a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country of residence and may bring a claim before the courts of your domicile.
